Warrant Executed

On April 23rd, 2019, police arrested a 40 year old Brandon man on the strength of an Endorsed Warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Harm.  He was subsequently released on a PTA to appear in Brandon Court on May 23rd, 2019.

 

Breach of Peace

On April 23rd, 2019, at 11:38am, police were called to a residence on Alaska Bay for a disturbance. Upon arrival, police located a 31 year old Brandon yelling and throwing items around the residence. The man was arrested and lodged at BCC to prevent any further breach of the peace.

On April 23rd, 2019, at 12:20pm, police were called to a residence on Cornell Bay as a result of a complaint of a 31 year old Brandon woman causing a disturbance possibly as a result of drug use. The woman was arrested and lodged at BCC and was later released once it was determined she was no longer a danger to herself.

 

Warrant Executed

On April 23rd, 2019, police arrested a 32 year old Brandon man when checked during an unrelated incident in the rear lane of the 200 blk of 4th Street. The man had warrants for Possess Property Obtained by Crime, Breach of Probation as well as Fail to Attend for Fingerprints. The man was lodged at BCC and will appear in Brandon Court on April 24th, 2019.

 

Warrant Executed

On April 23rd, 2019, at 2:41pm, police attended to a residence in the 200 blk of 4th Street to remove some unwanted people. Police arrested a 41 year old Brandon woman who was found to have an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation. The woman was lodged at BCC and will appear in Brandon Court on April 24th, 2019.

 

Intoxicated Persons Detention Act

On April 23rd, 2019, police arrested a 41 year old Brandon man after he was located walking along the 800 blk of 18th Street in a highly intoxicated state. The man was lodged at BCC and will be released in the morning when sober

On April 23rd, 2019, police arrested a 26 year old Brandon man after he was located in a highly intoxicated state passed out in a field in the area of the 600 blk of 6th Street. The man was lodged at BCC and will be released in the morning when sober.

 

Break and Enter (Garage)

On April 23rd, 2019, police received a complaint of a break and enter to a garage in the 2700 blk of McTavish Avenue. Stolen from the garage was a woman’s GIANT Mountain bike, Silver in color with a blue chain wrapped around the seat.

 

Breach of Probation

On April 23rd, 2019, at 8:38pm, police were called to a residence in the 200 blk of 5th Street regarding two people causing a disturbance. One of the two individuals was bound by a Court Order to have no contact with the other. As a result, a 29 year old man from Griswold, Manitoba was arrested for Breach of Probation and lodged at BCC. The man will be released on a PTA when sober to appear in Brandon Court on May 6th, 2019.

 

Warrant Executed

On April 23rd, 2019, Winnipeg Police advised Brandon Police that they had arrested a 46 year old woman on the strength of a Brandon warrant for Theft Under $5000 (x2) as well as Fail to Attend Court (x2). The woman was lodged at the Winnipeg Remand Centre and will appear in a Winnipeg Court on April 24th, 2019 to answer to the Brandon charges.

 

Break and Enter with Intent / Breach of Recognizance / Possess Meth

On April 24th, 2019, at 1:26am, police were called to a building located in the 1200 blk of Rosser Avenue after an alarm had been received. Police located a man inside the building who was under the influence of a drug. The man was taken into custody and lodged at BCC for Court when sober.
