10 APRIL 2019 MEDIA RELEASE FOR THE PAST 24 HOURS:

 

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Utter Threats, Theft Under, Breach of Probation, Fail to Attend Court, Contempt of Court):

On April 9, 2019, at 6:50am police conducted a traffic stop in the 400’ block of 5th Street. A 23 year old male passenger was arrested on the strength of a warrant for the above offences. He was lodged at BCC for court later in the day.

 

Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference:

On April 9, 2019, police arrested a 48 year old Brandon man for Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference after an ongoing investigation into inappropriate touching of a female under the age of 12. He will appear in court on June 6, 2019.

 

Intoxicated Person Detention Act:

On April 9, 2019, at 12:16pm police arrested a 73 year old man after he was found passed out in the hallway of an apartment building in the 200’ block of 8th Street. He was lodged at BCC to be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Breach of Probation):

On April 9, 2019, at 12:44pm police conducted a pedestrian check in the 300’ block of 6th Street. A 17 year old Brandon male was arrested on the strength of a warrant for Breach of Probation. He was released for court on April 23, 2019.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Numerous Robbery and Weapons Charges):

On April 9, 2019, at 2:10pm police located a 20 year old man at a residence in the 3500’ block of Willowdale Cres who was wanted for numerous robbery and weapons charges. He was lodged at BCC for court on April 10, 2019.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Break & Enter, Fail to Attend Court):

On April 9, 2019, at 2:10pm police located a 21 year old Brandon woman at a residence in the 3500’ block of Willowdale Cres who was wanted for Break & Enter and Failing to Attend Court. She was lodged at BCC for court on April 10, 2019.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Breach of Probation):

On April 9, 2019, at 10:20pm police located a 15 year old Brandon female at a residence in the 600’ block of 17th Street who was wanted for Breach of Probation. She was released for court on April 30, 2019.

 

Stolen Vehicle (Mazda Protégé 5, grey in colour):

On April 9, 2019, at 10:50pm police responded to a complaint of a stolen vehicle from a business in the 3100’ block of Victoria Ave. The vehicle is described as a 2003 Mazda Protégé 5, grey in colour, MB plate ERY 301. Police continue to investigate.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Fail to Attend Court):

On April 10, 2019, at 12:59am police conducted a pedestrian check in the 600’ block of 9th Street. A 33 year old Brandon woman was arrested on the strength of a warrant from St Rose RCMP for failing to attend court. She was released for court in Dauphin on May 21, 2019.

 

Breach of Undertaking, Arrest Warrant (Theft of Motor Vehicle, Fail to comply with Undertaking x4, Fail to Appear for Ident):

On April 10, 2019, at 1:28am police conducted a pedestrian check in the 300’ block of 6th Street. A 13 year old Brandon female was arrested on the strength of a warrant for theft of motor vehicle, fail to comply with undertaking x4, and failing to appear for ident. She was also in breach of a 10pm curfew. She was lodged at BCC for court in the morning.

 

Breach of undertaking (curfew):

On April 10, 2019, at 2:27am police conducted a pedestrian check in the 1000’ block of 18th Street. A 21 year old Brandon man was arrested for breaching his 10pm curfew. He was released for court on June 6, 2019.

 

Breach of Peace:

On April 10, 2019, at 3:49am police were called to the 000’ block of 10th Street for a disturbance. A 23 year old Brandon woman was found intoxicated and causing problems. She was lodged at BCC to be released once sober.
