03 APRIL 2019 MEDIA RELEASE FOR THE PAST 24 HOURS:

 

 

Break & Enter (Residence):

On April 2, 2019, at 12:17pm, police responded to a report of a Break & Enter to a residence in the 400 block of 13th Street. According to the homeowner unknown person(s) entered his residence and took several items as well as a roommates car keys then stole the vehicle from the driveway. The vehicle was later recovered in the back lane in the 300 blk of 15th Street. Police continue to investigate.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On April 2, 2019, at 3:12pm a 28 year old Brandon woman attended BPS and turned herself in on the strength of a warrant for failing to comply with probation. She was released for court on May 2, 2019.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On April 2, 2019, at 5:41pm police conducted a pedestrian check in the 600’ block of Princess Ave. A 35 year old male was found to have an outstanding warrant of arrest from the RCMP for failing to comply with a court order. He was lodged at BCC for court on April 3, 2019.

 

Intoxicated Person Detention Act:

On April 2, 2019, at 6:00pm police were called to a business in the 1500’ block of 18th Street for an intoxicated person. A 56 year old Brandon man was lodged at BCC to be released once sober.

 

Breach of Recognizance, Arrest Warrant Executed:

On April 2, 2019, at 9:38pm police attended a residence on Westaway Bay and located a 24 year old female from Rivers who was wanted for possessing property obtained by crime. She was also on a recognizance with a curfew of 7pm to 7am. She was arrested and lodged at BCC for court on April 3, 2019.
