Warrant Executed

On March 21st, 2019 at 9:22 am police arrested a 35 year old man from Brandon in the 300 blk of 10th Street who was found to have a warrant for breaching the conditions of his Probation Order. The man was lodged at BCC and will appear in Brandon Court on March 22nd, 2019.

 

Aggravated assault / Possess Prohibited Weapons

On March 21st, 2019 police arrested a 17 year old Brandon youth as a result of an ongoing investigation dating back to November 2018. The youth was charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Weapon with Ammo, and Possess Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order. This incident stems from an incident in which a Sawed Off shotgun was located in the possession of the accused who will appear in Brandon Court on March 22nd, 2019.

 

Warrant Executed

On March 21st, 2019 police attended to a residence in the 600 blk of MacDiarmid Drive to look for a 43 year old Brandon woman who was at large on 11 different warrants for Theft Under X 4, Breach of Probation X 4, Fail to Attend Court as well as Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. The woman was located and arrested on the strength of those warrants. The woman was lodged at BCC and will appear in Brandon Court on March 22nd, 2019.

 

Warrant Executed

On March 21st, 2019 Brandon Police were advised by Roseau Detachment of the Manitoba First Nation Police that a 20 year old man had turned himself into their police office when the man became aware that there was an outstanding warrant for Mischief to Property Under $ 5000.00. The man was released on a PTA to appear in Brandon Court on April 25th, 2019

 

Theft of Motor Vehicle / Impaired Driving (Drug)

On March 21st, 2019 at 10:00 pm police were on the lookout for a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Police conducted a stop on the stolen vehicle in the 100 blk of 6th Street. The driver showed signs of impairment by a drug and was charged accordingly for the vehicle theft as well as impaired driving. The man was lodged at BCC and will be released on a PTA to attended Brandon Court on a later date.

 

Breach of Recognizance

On March 15th, 2019 police responded to a complaint of a 30 year old woman being in possession of a pry bar and a socket wrench. At the time of that incident the woman was at large on a Recognizance Order with the condition to abstain from the possession of anything that could be construed as a weapon. As a result the accused will appear in Court on March 22nd, 2019
