Arrest Warrant Executed:

On March 9, 2019, at 08:58 am police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Richmond Ave. The female passenger was identified and found to be wanted on 2 outstanding warrants of arrest. A 23 year old Brandon woman was arrested for Break, Enter & Theft, Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose, Possession of property obtained by crime, Public mischief, Breach of Court order, Fail to attend for court and possession of a controlled drug.  She was lodged at BCC to appear in Court.

Domestic Assault:

On March 9th, 2019, at 11:33am, police were called to the area of Village Drive by a female whose ex-boyfriend was waiting for her outside her residence. Upon police arrival it was learned that the male has previously struck the female and had bit her on the arm.  A 26 year old male from Brandon was arrested for Domestic assault, and released to appear in Court on April 8th, 2019.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On March 9th, 2019, at 2:30pm, a 16 male youth from Brandon attended to BPS to turn himself in on an existing warrant for his arrest. He is charged with breaching his youth Probation order, and was released for court on April 9th, 2019.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On March 9th, 2019, at 5:36pm police were called to the 7th Street access Center for a highly intoxicated male in the lobby.  Police attended and found a 34 year old male who was wanted by the Winnipeg Police Service for an Assault.  He was lodged at BCC to appear in court on March 10th, 2019.

Drug Charges:

On March 9th, 2019 at 22:07 Brandon police observed a suspicious vehicle being operated with inactive licence plates.  A traffic stop was initiated and while the female driver was producing her licence, officers observed a small vial that appeared to contain cocaine. The male passenger was then checked and found to be out passed his court ordered curfew. Both were arrested and removed from the vehicle, at which time officers then located a case containing a quantity of Meth.  A 36 year old female was arrested for possession of Meth and Cocaine, and was released to appear in court on May 16th, 2019.  The 33 year old male arrested for breaching his curfew and possession of Meth, and was lodged at BCC to appear before court on March 10th, 2019.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On March 9, 2019, at 23:21, a 24 year old male from Brandon turned himself into the Winnipeg Police Service, as he was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest for Theft and Public Mischief.  He was released by WPS to appear in Brandon court on May 2nd, 2019.

Stolen vehicle & recovered weapon:

On March 10, 2019, at 0439am, police observed a blue 2004 Dodge Dakota truck which had been reported stolen earlier, by the Souris RCMP.  The vehicle was found with no licence plates, running in the 800 block of 9th St, with a female behind the wheel. A 43 year old female from Rapid City was arrested for possessing the stolen vehicle, and beside her purse police located a can of Bear spray. She was subsequently arrested for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. She was released for court on April 29th, 2019.
