Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On February 10th, 2019 a 34 year old Brandon man was being investigated for a theft from a store in the 1500 blk of 18th Street. Police later learned that the bike he was riding on was also stolen from a previous unrelated incident from February 5th, 2019. The man was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and was released on a PTA to appear in Brandon Court on April 11th, 2019.

 

Intoxicated Person Detention Act

On February 10th, 2019 at 1:00 pm police were notified of an intoxicated woman walking along the 1000 blk of 18th Street. The 26 year old Brandon was eventually located in the area of 26th Street and Willowdale Crescent. The intoxicated woman was not dressed appropriately for the weather and was uncooperative with police in that she would not provide a name or an address and as a result was lodged at BCC until sober.

 

Intoxicated Person Detention Act

On February 10th, 2019 at 3:00 pm police checked a number of individuals who were drinking a non-potable liquid in the area of the Corral Centre. The 17 year old youth was unable to be returned home due to her intoxicated state and as a result was lodged at BCC until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On February 10th, 2019 at 4:08 pm police received a call from the parent of a 37 year old Brandon man to do a wellbeing check. Upon arrival police found the man who was high on Meth and as a result the man was lodged at BCC until sober.

On February 10th, 2019 at 5:25 pm police located a 34 year old Brandon woman who was walking along the street near the police station and began to throw stones at the police cruiser. The woman was highly agitated and uncooperative with police and as a result was lodged at BCC to be released without charge on February 11th, 2019. There was no damage noted to the police vehicle.

 

Intoxicated Person Detention Act

On February 10th, 2019 at 3:00 pm police located a highly intoxicated 56 year old man of No Fixed Address near a store in the Corral Centre. The male was lodged at BCC until he was sober.
