Possess Property obtained by Crime:

Ongoing investigation of numerous Break and Enters and Theft from January 12th, 2019, resulted in the arrest of male on Monday February 04th. Police obtained and executed a search warrant on a residence in the 500 block of Rosser Avenue East. Police located several items to have been stolen during the break and enters. Police arrested and released a 23yr old Brandon man to appear in Court on April 04th.

Theft under $5000:

Ongoing investigation of theft from January 30th 2019, resulted in the arrest of a female on Monday February 04th. Police attended to a business in the 500 block of Princess Avenue, arrested and released a 17yr old Brandon female youth to appear in Court on March 05th.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Monday at approximately 09:10am, a male attended to Brandon Police Service to turn himself in on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Fail to Attend Court, Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. A 26yr old Brandon man was arrested and lodged at BCC to appear in Court on February 05th.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Monday, Police were at a residence in the 500 block of Rosser Avenue East executing a search warrant. A female sent a Facebook message to a cell phone, which was in police possession at the residence, with a picture of police were at the residence to warn the resident. Police attended across the street and located the female and learn she had two outstanding Warrants of Arrest for Theft under x2. A 23yr old Brandon woman was arrested and lodged at BCC to in Court on February 05th.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Monday, Manitoba First Nation Police Service advised Brandon Police Service they arrested a female in Waywayseecappo on the strength of a BPS outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Breach of Probation. A 33yr old Brandon woman was arrested and lodged to appear in Court on February 05th.

Assault with a Weapon:

On Tuesday morning at approximately 00:15am, police attended to a residence in the 300 block of 34th Street for a domestic assault. Police learned that a female broke the legs off a stand-up mirror and hit her common-law over the head. Police arrested and lodged an 18yr old Brandon woman to appear in Court on March 04th. The male’s injury was minor and did require medical assistance.

Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous x2, Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound/Maim/Disfigure and Discharge Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life:

On Monday evening at approximately 7:50pm, a 911 call was received of male with an arm injury and the male may have been stabbed. Police attended with BFES to a residence in the 1200 block of 10th Street and located the male, who had a gunshot wound to his right arm. The male indicated he was walking southbound on 10th Street, when a male known to him was driving northbound stopped got out the vehicle and shot him.

Police attended to the accused’s residence and observed the suspect vehicle parked in front. The accused was stopped by police, when leaving the residence Tuesday morning at approximately 01:00am. Police arrested a 31yr old Brandon man for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous x2, Pointing a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possess Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized, Unauthorized Possess of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm contrary to a Prohibited Order, Discharge Firearm with the Intent to Wound/Maim/Disfigure and Discharge Firearm with the Intent to Endanger Life. The male was lodged at BCC to appear in Court on February 05th.

The victim was taken to the hospital to attend to his injury a shattered humerus bone.

Still under investigation.

Other Arrest:

One person was arrested for Breach of Peace and lodged at BCC to be released when sober.
