01 FEBRUARY 2019 MEDIA RELEASE FOR THE PAST 24 HOURS

 

 

Theft under $5000:

On January 18th, 2019, a 27 year old male entered a business in the 000’ block of Willowdale Cres and stole a number of chocolate bars, sandwiches, and lottery tickets. On January 31st, 2019, police located the individual as he was already incarcerated at BCC on unrelated charges. He was arrested and charged for the theft and will appear in court on February 1, 2019.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Break & Enter, Fail to Attend Court):

On January 31st, 2019, at 11:05am police attended to a residence on Westaway Bay to locate and arrest a 30 year old female on the strength of a warrant for Break & Enter and failing to attend court. She was lodged at BCC to appear in court on February 1st, 2019.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed (Theft over $5000 & Theft under $5000):

On January 31st, 2019, at 10:10am police attended to a residence in Glendale T.C. to locate and arrest a 48 year old female on the strength of a warrant for theft over $5000 and theft under $5000. She was released for court on February 25th, 2019.

 

Assault (Domestic):

On January 31st, 2019, at 4:39pm police responded to a report of domestic assault. A female victim reported being assaulted by her 20 year old ex-boyfriend. The male was located and arrested for domestic assault. He was released on police imposed conditions to appear in court on March 7th, 2019.

 

Breach of the Peace:

On January 31st, 2019, at 9:44pm police responded to the 000’ block of 10th Street for a disturbance. A 26 year old Brandon female was located intoxicated and arrested for breaching the peace. She was lodged at BCC to be released once sober.
