Break, Enter and Theft:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 8:53am police responded to an alarm at a residence in the 400’ block of 13th Street. Upon arrival it was learned a suspect had gained entry through a window. With the assistance of the BPS canine unit the suspect was tracked and located several blocks away. When located, the suspect was also in possession of property from the residence. The suspect, a 32 year old Brandon male, was charged for Break and Enter as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was transported to BCC and will appear in court on December 6th, 2018.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 10:04am police attended to a residence in the 3500’ block of Willowdale for a disturbance. Once there, police located a 23 year old male from Sioux Valley with a warrant from Rivers Police. The warrant was for assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous. The male was arrested and released for court on January 14th, 2019.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 3:35pm police located a 24 year old Brandon male in the 600’ block of McDiarmid Dr. with an outstanding warrant for Breach of Recognizance x2 and Fail to Attend Court. He was lodged at BCC for court on December 6th, 2018.

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Meth):

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 5:14pm police located a 25 year old Winnipeg male in the 000’ block of 10th Street. The male was in possession of 7gms of Meth, $4400 cash, and a can of bear spray. He was arrested for Possession for the purpose of trafficking (meth), Proceeds of Crime, Possession of Prohibited Weapon (bear spray), and Possess Weapon contrary to Prohibition Order. He was lodged at BCC for court.

Intoxicated Persons Detention Act:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at approximately 6:30pm police located a 36 year old Brandon male highly intoxicated in the 1300’ block of Lorne Ave. He was lodged at BCC to be released when sober.

Arrest Warrant Executed by WPS:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 8:26pm Winnipeg Police Service advised they had arrested an 18 year old male on the strength of a BPS warrant for two counts of failing to comply.

Intoxicated Persons Detention Act:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 9:02pm police arrested an intoxicated 52 year old Brandon female in the 100’ block of McTavish Ave E. She was lodged at BCC to be released when sober.

Breach of Peace:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 10:13pm police attended to a disturbance on Wapiti Way. Located was an intoxicated 25 year old Brandon man. He was lodged at BCC for Breach of the Peace to be released when sober.

Breach of Peace:

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018, at 10:43pm police attended to disturbance in the 600’ block of Franklin Street. Located was an intoxicated 26 year old male with no fixed address. He was lodged at BCC to be released when sober.

Breach of Peace:

On Thursday December 6th, 2018, at 12:40am police attended to a residence in the 1500’ block of 13th Street for a disturbance. Police arrested an intoxicated 57 year old Brandon male for Breach of the Peace. He was lodged at BCC to be released when sober.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Thursday December 6th, 2018, at 3:47am police conducted a traffic stop in the 500’ block of 34th Street. The operator, a 29 year old female, was found to have a warrant for Theft Under $5000. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of January 3rd, 2019.
