Breach of Court Order:

On Wednesday, Brandon Correctional Centre reported a male inmate breached an in custody non-communication order. Police attended to BCC and arrested a 28yr old man to appear in Court on November 02nd.

Break, Enter and Theft:

On Thursday, a resident in the 3500 block of Willowdale Crescent reported sometime around 1:34pm, someone broke a window to gain entrance to the residence. Stolen from within was a PS4 game unit. Police continue to investigate.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered:

On Thursday night at approximately 10:03pm, Winnipeg Police Service notified Brandon Police Service  they had recovered the stolen vehicle reported on Tuesday October 30th 2018 from Brandon, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala with Manitoba plate FTR 970. The vehicle was towed to WPS compound.

Possession Property Obtained by Crime and Breach of Recognizance:

A continuation into the execution of a Search Warrant by Brandon Police Service on September 25th 2018, two additional charges are being laid against a male suspect in custody at BCC. At the time of his initial arrest, he was found in possession of a cell phone contrary to his Recognizance Order. He was also in possession of identification of a male, which was learned to have been stolen during a break and enter to the male’s residence in August 2018. Police attended to BCC and arrested a 21yr old Brandon man for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Breach of Recognizance to appear in Court on November 02nd.

Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Thursday night at approximately 10:06pm, Waywayseecappo RCMP advised that they have a female in custody on the strength of a BPS Warrant of Arrest for Assault. The RCMP arrested and released a 19yr old Erickson, Mb woman to appear in Court on December 10th.

On Friday morning at approximately 1:41am, Swan River RCMP advised that they a female in custody on the strength of a BPS Warrant of Arrest for Breach of Probation x2. The RCMP arrested and lodged a 52yr old woman to appear in Court on November 02nd.

Impaired Driver and Drive Over .08:

On Friday morning at approximately 1:40am, Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 18th Street after the vehicle bounced off the curb. The female driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. The female was transported to BPS where she provided two breath samples over the legal limit. Police arrested and released an 18yr old Brandon woman for Impair Driving and Drive Over .08 to appear in Court on November 08th.

Theft Under:

On October 22nd 2018, Police received a complaint from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue of a female suspect stealing $288.09 worth of merchandise. Police viewed the surveillance video and identified the female suspect. On November 01st, Police located, arrested and released a 39yr old Brandon woman to appear in Court on December 24th.

Other:

One person was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre for Breach of Peace to be released when sober.
