Arrest Warrant Executed:

On Thursday morning at approximately 09:30am, a member of the Brandon Police Service observed a female in a 10th and Victoria Avenue business and was aware of her outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Theft Under. Police located, arrested and lodged the 33yr old Brandon woman for Court on September 14th.

On Thursday, Brandon Police Service received a request from Manitoba Enforcement Program in executing a Family Maintenance Act Warrant on a male subject. Police attended to a residence in the 800 block of Dennis Street, located and arrested a 48yr old Brandon man. The male was transported to Brandon Court house to appear before a JJP, who remanded the male in custody until October 12th.

Theft Under $5000:

On September 11th at approximately 3:34pm, a female attended to a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue and concealed several items of clothing and left the store without paying. On Friday morning at approximately 01:30am, the female attended to BPS regarding another matter, was unware the Police were looking for her for Theft Under. Police arrested and released the 43yr old Brandon woman to appear in Court on November 01st.

Breach of Undertaking, Attempt Break and Enter and Arrest Warrant :

On Thursday evening at approximately 7:04pm, Police were dispatched to a residence in the 000 block of Aster Cresent for an intoxicated male kicking and hitting a door with a brick, attempting to break into the residence. Police located the male and learned he was breaching a Court order to abstain intoxicants and an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Fail to attend Court. Police arrested and lodged a 21yr old Brandon man who will appear in Court on September 14th.

Other Arrests:

Two individuals was detained under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act to be released when sober.

One individual was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to be released when sober.
