Possess Controlled Substance - Cocaine

On September 5, 2018 about 11:30 AM, police attended an apartment in the 700 blk Franklin St regarding an intoxicated 20 year old male. He had consumed a large amount of alcohol and drugs. He was arrested and when searched several grams of cocaine were located on him.  He was lodged for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He will be released in the morning when sober, to appear in court on November 8, 2018.

Theft of Cell Phone

On September 5, 2018 at about 12:30 PM, police located a suspect in the theft of a cell phone from August 29. The 38 year old female, from Brandon, was arrested for the theft and damage she had done to the phone.  She was released to appear in court on November 1.

Obstruction

On September 4, 2018, Police were notified that two accused persons had communicated with a third person in an attempt to send messages to witnesses in their trial. The messages were intended to get the witnesses to change their statements to police. The first two accused are both male subjects from Brandon, one is 28 years old and the other is 19 years old. Charges are still pending for the third suspect.

Unlawfully in Dwelling House

On September 5, 2018 at approx. 7:30 PM police received a report of a disturbance a an apartment in the 500 blk of 11th St. Upon attending police located a 49 year old female from Brandon in the apartment.  She had be told to leave the apartment and not return several days before by the tenant. She had crawled in through a broken window to retrieve some property. She was arrested and lodged due to her intoxication.  She will be released in the morning to appear in court on November 1 on charges of Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling House.

Warrants executed

One person was arrested on a warrant for Fail to Appear in Court and Breach of Probation.

Other Arrests:

In the last 24 hours two individuals were arrested for Breach of Peace and one individual were detained under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.

One individual was arrested for Breach of the Undertaking. He was intoxicated and on an order not to consume alcohol or drugs.

 

One individual was arrested for Breach of the Undertaking x2. He was found on the street at 12:54 AM and he was on two orders with curfews he was breaching.
