For the last 24 hours:

Flight from Police, Public Mischief, Breach of Recognizance and Arrest Warrant Executed:

Early Wednesday morning at approximately 4:06am, Brandon Police Service conducted a vehicle stop in the 1400 block of 13th Street. The female driver could not produce a driver’s license and claimed to be another person unknown her that person was a suspended driver. Upon learning she was being arrested for suspended driving, the female sped off, Police  located the vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 1400 block of 9th Street.

Police learnt the identity of the driver and were allowed entry into the residence and located the female driver. A 25yr old Shoal Lake, Mb woman was arrested for Flight from Police, Public Mischief, Endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Theft Under and Breach of Recognizance (condition to abstain alcohol/drug) and lodge at BCC for Court in the morning.

Breach of Recognizance:

On Wednesday morning approximately 1:16am, Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the laneway in the 800 block between 6th and 7th Street. Police learned the 29yr old male was found to be breaching his 10:00pm curfew and was arrested and lodged at BCC for Court in the morning.

Break and Enter:

On Wednesday morning at approximately 4:54am, Police received a call from a resident in the 600 block of Rosser Avenue East claiming someone was in the residence. Police attended found no one the residence other than the caller. The caller said a television and some jewelry were missing. Police continue to investigate.

Forcible Confinement:

On Tuesday evening at approximately 7:25pm, Police attended to an establishment in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue, in attempt to locate a suspect involved in several recent robberies. The victims in the robberies, reported being held against their will, assaulted, and robbed of personal items. A 21yr old Rivers, Mb woman was located, arrested and lodged at BCC for Court in the morning.

Police have identified other suspects and continue to investigate with more charges forthcoming.

Other Arrests:

Two people were detained under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act to be released when sober.

One individual was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to be released when sober.
