Assault – Domestic:

On Sunday, Police received a complaint from a female that her boyfriend came home began arguing and grabbed her aggressively multiple times and threw her against the wall. The male also bear hugged her hard enough to hurt her ribs and cause her to have trouble breathing. A 30yr old Brandon man was arrested and lodged at BCC to be released for Court on July 4th. The female not require medical assistance.

On Sunday morning approximately 07:11am, Police received a complaint from a female that male kicked her in the leg. A 42yr old Brandon man was later located and arrested for domestic assault and Breach of Undertaking as he was breaching his no alcohol condition. The male will in Court on August 2nd. The female did not require medical assistance.

On Sunday at approximately 12:02pm, a female reported that her husband was intoxicated and causing a disturbance at their residence. The female said he hit her arm and pushed against the wall causing her to hit her head on the wall resulting in a bump on her head. A 57yr old Brandon man was arrested and released for Court on July 30th. The female did not require medical assistance.

On Monday morning at approximately 01:34am, a female reported that a male assaulted her and her sister. The female said the male left the residence after the assaults. Police later located and arrested a 22yr old Brandon man for Domestic Assault and Assault and lodged the male at BCC for Court in the morning. The females did not require medical assistance.

Warrant of Arrest:

On Sunday, Selkirk RCMP arrested a female found to have a BPS unendorsed Warrant of Arrest for Brach of Probation. A 19yr old female will appear in Winnipeg Court on July 03rd.

On Sunday afternoon at approximately 4:19pm, Police received a complaint of disturbance at an east end residence. Upon arrival Police learnt that a male had an outstanding BPS endorsed warrant for Fail to Appear Prints. A 23 year old Brandon was arrested and released to appear in Court on July 30th.

On Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:36pm, Police conducted a pedestrian check with a female and learnt she has an endorsed Warrant of Arrest for YCJA. An 18yr old Brandon woman was arrested and released to appear in Court on July 23rd.

On Sunday evening at approximately 8:43pm, Police observed a male in the 800 block of 10th Street and conducted a pedestrian check and learnt he has an endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Breach of Probation. A 25yr old Brandon man was arrested and released for Court on July 30th.

Breach of Court Order:

On Sunday night at approximately 10:09pm, Police attended to a residence in the 3700 block of Centennial Blvd after being contacted about a person causing a disturbance in the residence. A 47yr old Brandon woman was found to be on a Court Order and breaching the curfew condition. The female was arrested and released to appear in Court on August 28th.

Breach of Recognizance:

On Sunday night at approximately 10:06pm, a resident from Delta Bay reported seeing people in the bush at the park. Police attended and located an intoxicated male who was on a Recognizance Order to live in Thunder Bay, Ont. A 38yr old Brandon man was arrested and lodged at BCC for Court in the morning.

On Monday morning at approximately 03:54am, an employee at a group home reports one their residents left the residence breaching her Recognizance Order. At approximately 04:56am, the 17yr old female attended to BPS and turned herself into Police. The female was arrested and lodged at BCC for Court in the morning.

Break and Enter:

On Monday morning at approximately 01:22am, an employee from business located in the 300 block of 18th Street North reported unlawful entry to two of the rooms at that location. The complainant said several items were taken. Police continue to investigate this incident.

Other Arrests:

One individual was detained under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act to be released when sober.

Two individuals was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to be released when sober.
