Warrants for Breach of Probation

At 5:48 pm, Police arrested a 24-year-old Brandon man in the 600 block of Pacific Ave. He is known to Police and when checked had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Breach of Probation. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre for court in the morning.

At 4:15 pm, Police attended to a residence on Garwood Drive and arrested a 30-year-old Brandon man as they were aware he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Breach of Probation. He was released for a later court date.

Breach of Court Order

As a result of a report from Brandon Correctional Centre, one of the inmates was charged for breaching his court order. On April 29th and 30th,   the 30-year-old inmate had breached his court orders by contacting an individual he had been directed not to have any communication with. He will appear in court at a later date.

Assault and Breach of Probation 

At 9:00 pm, Police attended to a residence on Cornwallis Cr in relation to a separate matter and ended up dealing with a call of a 17-year-old Brandon youth assaulting staff at a residence there. She was also breaching her court orders and was lodged at BCC for court in the morning.

Warrants

At 10:50 pm, Police checked a 16-year-old Brandon youth in the 2200 block of Brandon Ave and found her to have warrants for failing to comply with her Recognizance and her Probation. She was arrested and released for a later court date.

Winnipeg Police Service arrested a man on Brandon Police Service warrants after the 38-year-old man attended to WPS headquarters claiming to need medical attention. He arrested on his warrants for failing to appear in court, theft under $5,000 and breach of probation. He was held in custody for court.

Break and Enter 

A break and enter was reported to have occurred in the 000 block of 14th St North sometime between noon and midnight. As a result of this occurrence a 10 year old German Sheppard and an 8 month old pit bull are missing. This incident remains under investigation.

Other arrests

Three other individuals were arrested for causing disturbances while being intoxicated in public.
