Brandon Police Service Media Release for the Past 24 Hours.

Arrest Warrants Executed:

A 23-year-old man from Brandon was arrested at his residence after Police learned of an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance. The man was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Court on Friday.

A 27-year-old female attended to the Police Service on an unrelated matter and it was learned that she had an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Failing to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking. The female was arrested and released to attend Court in May.  


At approximately 10:30 p.m., Police and Fire members attended a residence in the 500 Block of 14th Street after receiving a report of a person throwing a Molotov cocktail in the backyard. The small fire was extinguished by BFES and Police investigators learned that two suspects, with their faces covered threw the incendiary bottle into the yard. There are no suspects at this time and Police investigation into this matter continues.

Other Arrests:

Two individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace.
