A 25 year old resident of Canupawaka First Nation has been charged with Identity Fraud and Fraud Transportation after they refused to pay for a Taxi Fare.  The female identified herself with someone else’s name.  She has been released for court on a Promise to Appear on April 5th 2018.


A 31 year old Brandon Female has been arrested on the strength of an outstanding Warrant of Arrest.  She was arrested as a result of police

Investigating her for allegedly shoplifting from a business on 18th street North.  She was arrested on the Warrant for the charges of fraudulently obtain Food.  She has been released on a Promise to Appear.


A 20 year old Brandon Male has been arrested on the strength of four Unendorsed Warrants of Arrest.  The male is being held in custody to appear in court on charges of Sexual Interference, Invitation to Sexual Touching, Sexual Assault, Breach of Recognizance X 2 and Breach of Probation.


A 33 year old Brandon Female has been arrested on the strength of an Unendorsed Warrant of Arrest for Breach of Probation.  She has been held in Custody to appear in Court Saturday.


A 30 year old Brandon female has been arrested and released on a Promise to Appear after being arrested for Breaching her Probation.  The female was not to have any contact with children and was found with three young children by CFS.  She will be appearing in court March 5th 2018.


A 32 year old Virden Male has been charged with a new charge of Breach of Recognizance X 2. He was also wanted on the strength of a Warrant for Arrest for the charges of Possession of Property Obtained be Crime and Breach of Recognizance. The male was located in the 300blk of 13th street at 1:35AM which was outside his court imposed Curfew hours.  The Male is also on a court imposed condition of to not attend the City of Brandon.  He has been held in custody and will appear in court Saturday.


A 14 year old Brandon Male has been arrested due to a report that he was not following House rules.  The youth is on a Recognizance with a condition to follow all rules of the house.  The Group home reported to police that the male was not in compliance with the Recognizance condition.  He will be released from Custody on a Promise to Appear in Court.
