Domestic Assault

Police arrested a 31-year-old Brandon man after it was alleged he assaulted his girlfriend on December 29th, 2017. The accused was released with a January 2018 court date. The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.

Breach of Recognizance.

At 9:30pm Saturday Police conducted a traffic stop in the 500blk of 12th St. A CPIC query on a 31 year old male passenger from Virden, Mb. revealed that he was currently bound by a Recognizance order with conditions he not attend Brandon and not be out after 7pm. The accused was released for a February 2018 court date.

 

Break and Enter to a Business.

 At 7pm Saturday evening Police received a report of a Break and Enter to a business in the 2100 blk. of Brandon Ave. Persons unknown had broken several windows to gain entry and once inside caused damage. It is unknown if anything was stolen and Police continue to investigate.

Mischief to Property.

At 2am Sunday morning, staff from a bar in the 3100blk. Victoria Ave. called Police reporting that a 31-year-old male from Brandon had smashed a window. Police attended and charged the male with Mischief to Property. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Center and will be released when sober to attended court in February 2018.

 

Other Arrests.

A 32-year-old Brandon man was arrested for breaching his Probation order. He was released to appear in court in February 2018.

Two individuals were lodged at Brandon Correctional Center for Breach of the Peace.
