Stolen Vehicle.

 

In the early afternoon Saturday Police received a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant reported that his Red 2009 Ford F-350, Manitoba License GWP277, had been stolen from a parking lot in the 1100 blk. 18th St sometime overnight. Police continue to investigate.

 

 

 

Stolen Trailer Recovered.

 

 

Police recovered a utility trailer in the Green Acres area that had been stolen earlier. The trailer was undamaged and returned to the owner.

 

 

 

Fraud Under $5000

 

 

 

At 5pm Saturday afternoon Police arrested a 20 year old Brandon man after it was alleged he attempted to return a pair of workboots that he had just removed from the shelf at a store in the 900 blk of 18th St. N. The accused was intoxicated and lodged at Brandon Correctional Center to be released when sober with a January 2018 court date.

 

 

 

Breach of Undertaking/ Warrant of Arrest.

 

 

 

At 4:50pm Police arrested a 21 year old Brandon man after locating him in the 1000 blk. of Lorne Ave. intoxicated. The accused was bound by an Undertaking with a condition that he not consume alcohol. The accused was also wanted on the strength of several outstanding Arrest Warrants. The male was lodged at Brandon Correctional Center and will appear in court this morning.

 

 

 

Arrest Warrants.

 

 

 

At 12 noon on Saturday Police arrested a 52 year old female from Brandon on the strength of an outstanding Arrest Warrant. She was released to appear in court in January 2018.

 

 

 

Police in Altona, Mb arrested a 34 year old male from Altona on the strength of a Brandon Police Service Arrest Warrant. The male appeared in court in Altona and was remanded to the Winnipeg Remand center.

 

 

 

Carry Concealed Weapon/ Breach Undertaking, Recognizance and Probation.

 

 

 

At 3am Sunday morning Police checked a 19 year old male in the 700 blk. 10th St. A check of the CPIC database revealed the male had an outstanding Arrest Warrant from Portage la Prairie. The accused was arrested and searched which revealed he was concealing a homemade “Billy Club” in his pant leg. The accused was also bound by several orders which he was breaching. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Center and will appear in court this morning.

 

 

 

Impaired Driving.

 

 

 

At 3am Sunday Morning Police arrested a 22 year old male from Winnipeg after finding him in the driver’s seat of a vehicle involved in several accidents in the parking lot of an establishment in the 3100 blk. Victoria Ave. The male showed signs of impairment and provided breath samples resulting in readings almost double the legal limit. The accused was released and will appear in court later this week.

 

 

 

Breach of Recognizance/Possession of Cocaine.

 

 

 

At 10:50pm Saturday Police arrested a 23 year old male from Edmonton, Ab. After locating him acting suspicious at an establishment in the 1000 blk. of 18th St. A search of the subject located several baggies containing Cocaine as well as a folding knife, contrary to a condition of a Recognizance order stating he was not to possesses any weapons. The male was lodged at Brandon Correctional Center and will appear in court this morning.

 

 

 

Breach of Recognizance.

 

 

 

At 9:45am Saturday morning Police arrested a 21 year old male from Brandon after finding him intoxicated which was contrary to a condition of his Recognizance order. The male was lodged at Brandon Correctional Center and will appear in court this morning.

 

 

 

Breach of Peace Bond.

 

 

 

Police arrested a 40-year-old female from Brandon after it was alleged she breached her Peace Bond on November 10th by communicating with people she was not to communicate with. She was released and will appear in court in January 2018.

 

 

 

Other Arrests.  

 

 

 

3 individuals were lodged at Brandon Correctional Center for Breach of the Peace.
