Carry Concealed Weapon 

At 1:30, Police stopped a cab in the 600 block of 9th St and found the passenger in the vehicle to have an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation. Upon searching the 20-year old Brandon woman incident to her arrest, she was found to have an extendable baton on her. As a result, she was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and the warrant. She was held in custody for court in the morning.

 

Breach of Undertaking 

At 2:00 pm, Police attended to a business in the 200 block of 18th St N for a disturbance. As a result, a 39-year-old Saskatchewan woman was arrested for breaching her conditions not to have contact with a female who was present as well as breaching her conditions not to consume alcohol. She was held in custody for court in the morning. While members were dealing with this occurrence, they also arrested a 44-year-old Saskatchewan man for breach of peace as he was causing a disturbance.

 

Domestic Assault 

At 2:20 pm, Police were called to the 800 block of Dennis St for a report of a female being assaulted by her boyfriend. The victim indicated that she had been struck in the face twice but did not suffer any serious injury.  The 25-year-old Brandon man was later arrested at an address in the 400 block of 10th St and was released for a later court date.

 

Impaired Driver 

At 2:200 am, Police stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of 18th St. The driver, a 20-year-old Riverton man, was exhibiting signs of impairment and later failed the roadside screening test. The accused was then arrested and transported to BPS were he later provided breath samples close to twice the legal limit. He was released for court at a later date.

 

Other arrests 

4 other individuals were arrested for issues related to breaching the peace and being intoxicated in public.
