Brandon Police Service Media Release


Arrest Warrant Executed:


At approximately 1:20 a.m., a female pedestrian flagged down a Police Officer in the 2600 Block of Pacific Avenue. The female was found to have an outstanding Warrant of Arrest issued by the Roblin RCMP for Failing to Attend for Finger Prints. The 27-year-old female was arrested and released to attend Court in October.



Breach of Recognizance:


At approximately 11:00 p.m., Police attended to a residence in the 2300 Block of Brandon Avenue for a disturbance. A group of people were located within the residence and a male and female were found to be intoxicated and the cause of the disturbance. The male was bound by a Recognizance with a condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. The 29-year-old man from Pipestone Manitoba was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear in Court on Friday.  The 29-year-old female was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to be released when sober.



Other Arrest:


Three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace and detained at the Brandon Correctional Center.


Four individuals were detained under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act.
