Transportation by Fraud

 

 

As a result of an ongoing investigation from July 14th a 31 year old female from Justice was charged with using a cab on that date and not paying the fare. She was released for court at a later date.

 

 

Assault

 

 

At 4:14 pm, a call was received from a residence on Cornell Bay indicating that a 19 year old female that resides at that address had assaulted another female at that location. The accused was released for a later court date.

 

 

Assaulting a Peace Officer, Breach of Probation

 

 

At 10:40 pm, Police were in the process of lodging a 14 year old Brandon Youth at Brandon Correctional Centre when the youth proceeded to punch a Correctional Officer in the face and pull her hair. The youth was charged and held for court in the morning.

 

 

Fraudulent use of a Credit Card, Possession of a Stolen Credit Card

 

 

On August 4th, a 23 year old Brandon man attempted to use a stolen credit card at business in the 200 block of Victoria Ave E. The suspect was later identified though video surveillance and was charged and released for court at a later date.

 

 

Breach of Probation

 

 

At 1:15 am, Police received a call in the area of Woodhaven Dr reporting a male ringing doorbells in the area. Police located a 17 year old youth in the area who was intoxicated and breaching his court order. He was held in custody until sober and released for a later court date.

 

 

Other Arrests

 

 

Winnipeg Police Service arrested a 33-year-old man with numerous outstanding warrants from Brandon Police Service. The accused was held in custody for court in the morning.

 

 

Long Plains Dakota Ojibway Police arrested a male for Brandon Police Service warrants for Break and Enter and Theft. He was released for a later court date in Brandon.

 

 

Four other individuals were arrested for alcohol related issues.
