Break and Enter

 

 

On Friday morning, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a business located in the 800 blk of Victoria Ave. Sometime overnight, a window was broken to gain entry to the building. Once inside, the suspects stole a safe and a quantity of cash. This incident remains under investigation.

 

 

Breach of Recognizance

 

 

At 10:49 AM, reports were received of an intoxicated woman in the 100 blk of 11th St. Police attended and located a 32-year-old woman in an intoxicated state and in possession of prescription drugs that she did not have a prescription for. The woman was bound by the conditions of a Recognizance with a condition to not consume or possess drugs without a prescription. She was held overnight and will appear this morning charged with Breach of Recognizance.

 

 

Assault

 

 

At 1:23 PM, 911 received an open line call where no one was on the line but people could be heard arguing in the background. The call was traced to an address in the 1600 blk of Stickney Ave. where a male and female were located. They reported that they had been involved in a physical altercation. As a result of the investigation, a 20-year-old woman was arrested and released on a Promise to Appear in court on September 5th charged with Assault.

 

 

Break, Enter and Commit Assault, Breach of Recognizance

 

 

At 5:26 PM, Police received a complaint from a resident of Aster Cres. reporting that a male had broken into her suite and assaulted her. She had been alone in her suite when the accused entered her residence through a window and pushed her to the floor. The 46-year-old male was located in the backyard of the residence and was arrested. The accused was bound by the conditions of a Recognizance with conditions to have no contact with the victim, not to be within 100m of her residence and not to be in the City of Brandon. He was held overnight and will appear in court this morning charged with Break, Enter and Commit Assault and three counts of Breach of Recognizance.

 

 

Breach of OIC Undertaking

 

 

At 8:40 PM, Police responded to a fight at a residence in the 300 blk of Louise Ave. An intoxicated 23-year-old male was located at the scene. The male was bound by the conditions of an Officer in Charge Undertaking with a condition to abstain. He was held overnight and later released to appear in court charged with Breach of an OIC Undertaking.

 

Assault, Utter Threats

 

 

At 6:38 PM, a male contacted police to report being assaulted and threatened by his girlfriend. The 37-year-old female later attended to BPS where she was arrested and later released on a Promise to Appear in court on September 15th charged with Assault and Uttering Threats.
