Residential Break and Enter

 

On Saturday afternoon, Police were advised that homeowners in the north end of Brandon had returned home from a vacation to find their residence had been broken into.  Items missing include televisions, video game systems, a computer and cash.  Police are continuing to investigate.

 

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

 

At 9:45 p.m., a 32-year-old Brandon male was arrested on the strength of a Brandon Police Service warrant for two counts of breaching his recognizance.  The male was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center for a court appearance on Sunday morning.

 

 

Impaired Driver

 

At 10:30 p.m., a vehicle was observed in the area of 18th and Queen’s Avenue driving on the curb.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver showed signs of impairment.  A 25-year-old male from Brandon was arrested and provided samples of his breath over twice the legal limit.  The male was released for court later in July.

 

 

Impaired Driver

 

At 04:30 a.m., a vehicle was observed driving erratically in the 1400 block of Victoria Avenue.  The 27-year-old Brandon male driver showed signs of impairment and had open liquor in the vehicle.  He was arrested and provided samples of his breath with one sample over twice the legal limit.  The male was released to appear in court later in July. 

 

 

Other Arrests

 

2 persons were lodged at Brandon Correctional Center under the LCGA.

 

1 person was lodged for Breach of the Peace

 

1 person was lodged under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.
