Break and Enter to a Garage

 

At 8:30 AM, a report was received of a break in to a detached garage on Wascana Dr. Stolen was a 12 speed red and white Supercycle.

 

Another Break in was reported to a garage on Hazelwood Cresent. The entry was gained to the garage by damaging a window screen and it appears the suspect possibly slept in the vehicle for the evening. Both Break and Enters are still under investigation.

 

Assault and Mischief

 

At 5:00 am a call was received of a disturbance in the 300 block of Cornwallis Cr. It was learned that an 18 year old Brandon man had caused some damage at a residence, also damaged a couple of vehicles and assaulted 3 people at the residence. The suspect was located in the area and was also found to be breaching his court orders. He was arrested and held for court.

 

Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court as a Witness

 

Neepawa RCMP arrested 38 year old Plumas man on a Brandon Police Service Warrant for failing to appear as a witness for court. He was released for a later court date.

 

Impaired Drivers

 

Just after 5:00 pm, a call was received of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was located and stopped in the area of the 1700 block of Park Ave and the driver, a 40 year old Brandon man, was arrested and taken to BPS where he later provided breath samples almost three times the legal limit. He will appear in court at a later date.

 

At 8:30 pm, a 34 year old Brandon man was pulled into a check stop in the 200 block of 18th St and exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired driving. He later provided samples of more than twice the legal limit and was charged and released for a later court date.

 

At 11:15 pm, a 61 year old Brandon Woman was pulled over as a result of a checkstop and was showing signs of impairment and was arrested and transported to BPS where she later provided samples of twice the legal limit. She was released for a later court date.

 

At 1:30 am, a 26 year old male was stopped in the 500 block of 13th St and was showing signs of impairment and was arrested and transported to BPS where he provided breath samples over the legal limit. He was released for a later court date.

 

At 12:05 am, a 51 year old Mesa Arizona man was stopped in the 500 block of 18th St and was arrested for impaired driving. He was taken to BPS where he later provided samples of twice the legal limit. He was held for court in the morning.

 

All of the subjects charged with impaired driving were also charged with Drive Over .08 as well.

 

Shoplifting

 

At 8:15 pm a 56 year old Brandon man was apprehended stealing $150 worth of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. He was released for a later court date.

 

 

Breach of Recognizance

 

At 9:00 pm, a call was received of a youth who had knives in his possession, which was breaching his orders not to possess any weapons. He was apprehended and lodged for court in the morning.

 

Breach of Undertaking

 

At 10:45 pm, a called was received that a male was outside a building in the 600 block of Douglas St, and was breaching his orders not to be around the complainant. The 27 year old Brandon man was located outside this address and was arrested and held for court in the morning.

 

Domestic Assault

 

At 3:30 am, a call was received from a female indicating that she had just been assaulted by her boyfriend who had hit her and then left the residence which was in the 1500 block of Stickney Ave. The male was located in the area and arrested and transported to BCC to be held until sober and released for a later court date.

 

Other Arrests

 

Two other individuals were arrested for alcohol related issues and were lodged until sober and released without charges.
