Brandon Police Service Media Release

Breach of Probation:

On Monday afternoon, a 28-year-old man who is an inmate at the Brandon Correctional Center was arrested for Breach of Probation. The man sent two letters to a female while bound by a Probation Order to have no contact or communication with the female. The man will appear in Court on Tuesday.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered:

At 7:00 p.m., a resident of Clark Drive reported that at 4:00 p.m. a white Ford F-150 with Saskatchewan licence plates parked on the street in front of a residence. Two males left the vehicle, both carrying backpacks and walked away from the truck. Police attended however, the truck left prior to arrival. Police checks found the vehicle to be stolen from Churchbridge Saskatchewan on May 13th. At 4:07 a.m., an officer observed the vehicle filling up with gas at 34th street and Victoria Avenue. Police stopped the vehicle; a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old female were arrested for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Both individuals have been taken into custody and Police continue to investigate.

Other Arrests:

Two individuals were detained in separate incidents under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act. Both were lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to be released when sober.
