Warrants Executed:

On Wednesday, Police conducted a traffic stop, as a result a 36yr old Griswold, Mb man was arrested for an endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Possession of Property Obtain by Crime and Fail to Attend Court. The male was also issued Common Offence Notices for HTA offences. The male was released to appear in Court on May 18th 2017.

On April 18th, 2017 the accused was present during a Queens Bench trail at the Brandon Courthouse. Police were aware of the existence of a number of arrest warrants for the accused, Breach of Recognizance x4 and Breach of Probation, held by Brandon Police Service and Winnipeg Police Service. Police attended to Brandon Correctional Centre and arrested a 29yr old Winnipeg woman who will appear in Court on April 19th, 2017.

On Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, the accused attended to Brandon Police Service as he was aware there was a Warrant of Arrest for him. The warrant was for Assault with a Weapon, Assault and Uttering Threats from an incident on April 18th, 2017. An 18yr old Brandon man was arrested and released to appear in Court on May 18th, 2017.

Possession of Property Obtain by Crime, Utter Forged Document:

As a result of an ongoing investigation from March 7th, a 26yr old Brandon man was arrested for possession of property obtain by crime and cashing a check that was stolen from the complainant. The male was released to appear in Court on June 15th 2017.

Assault (Domestic) x4, Utter Threats:

On Wednesday morning at 06:58am, Police received a call from a woman who wanted her partner removed from the residence. Police attended to the residence and the woman disclosed that she had been assaulted by accused. The Police learnt that between June 1st,2016 and April 19th,2017 that accused assaulted her on four different occasions by punching, pushing and slapping her. The woman said during the last assault, the accused threaten to kill her. A 21yr old Brandon man was arrested and released to appear in Court on May 18th,2017.

Fraudulent Use of Credit Card x4:

As a result of an ongoing investigation, Police identified the accused, from surveillance video of a business in the 2300 block of Victoria Avenue, attempting use a stolen credit card. The accused attempted use the stolen credit card at two other businesses as well as a banking institution. A 12yr old Brandon male youth was arrested and released to appear in Court on May 16th 2017.

Impaired Driving, Refuse Breathalyser:

On Wednesday night, Police received a call of a possible impaired driver that was driving erratically and almost hit the caller. The vehicle was followed to a residence on Cornwallis Cr. Police attended to the area and located the suspect vehicle pulling into the driveway. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired driving. The driver was transported to BPS, where the driver provided one breath sample over the legal limit and then refused to provide further samples. A 52yr old Brandon man was arrested for Impaired Driving and Refuse Breathalyser and will appear in Court on April 24th, 2017.
