BREACH OF COURT ORDERS

 

On Tuesday evening, Police received information from staff at the Brandon Correctional Center that a male contacted a female while in custody contrary to a Court Order. The male has since been released and when contacted by Police the male turned himself in to Police. A 22-year-old Brandon man was arrested for Breach of Court Order and was lodged at BCC to appear in Court on Wednesday.

 

At 8:37 PM, Police attended to a disturbance in the 600 Block of 11th Street. A female was located in the residence and was found to be intoxicated. The female was in Breach of two conditions of an Undertaking by consuming alcohol and to have no contact or communication with the male who lives in the residence. An 18-year-old female from Prince Rupert BC was arrested for Breach of Undertaking and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear in Court on Wednesday.

 

On Tuesday afternoon, Police received information from staff at the Brandon Correctional Center that a current inmate had contacted a female on several occasions since March 23rd 2017 contrary to conditions of a Court Order. A 22-year-old man was arrested for Breach of Court Order and will appear in Court on Wednesday.

 

ARREST WARRANTS EXECUTED

 

On Tuesday morning, Police while on Patrol observed a female and knew the female had an outstanding Warrant for her Arrest for Breach of Undertaking and Fail to Attend for Finger Prints. The 35-year-old female from Brandon was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear in Court on Tuesday afternoon.

 

A 29-year-old female from Winnipeg was arrested for having a Warrant of Arrest for Fail to Attend Court and Fail to Attend for Finger Prints. The female appeared in Court on Tuesday afternoon.  

 

On Tuesday evening, 17-year-old female from Brandon turned herself to Police for having four Warrants of Arrest. The Warrants were for Fail to Attend Court X 2, Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation. The female was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear in Court on Wednesday.  

 

On Tuesday evening, a 34-year-old female from Brandon turned herself into Police for having an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Assault and Fail to Attend Court. The female was arrested and released to attend Court in May.

 

SHOPLIFTING / THEFT UNDER $5000

 

On Tuesday evening, staff from a business in the 900 Block of Victoria Avenue apprehended a 16-year-old female and an 18-year-old female for attempting to steal $47.93 worth of merchandise. The 16 year old was arrested and released to attend Court in May. The 18 year old was arrested and released to attend Court in June.

 

On Tuesday evening, an employee from a business in the 900 Block of Victoria Avenue apprehended a female for attempting to steal $118.70 worth of merchandise. The 40-year-old female from Brandon was arrested and released to attend Court in June.

 

OTHER ARRESTS

 

Three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace in separate incidents. All three were detained at the Brandon Correctional Center to be released when sober.
