Warrant Executed:

On Tuesday, Police attended to a residence in 300 block of 10th Street for a report of a suspicious male. Police located a female at that location and learned she had an outstanding warrant of arrest for Fail to Attend Court and Fail to Attend Prints. A 40yr old Brandon woman was arrested and lodged at BCC for Court in the morning.

Theft Under, Obstruct Police Officer, Possess Marihuana, Possess Crystal Meth:

On Monday night at 11:30pm, a male was captured on surveillance video at a business in the 700 block of 10th Street stealing a wallet. On Tuesday at 2:30pm, the male was observed in the 300 block of 10th Street and a person check was conducted by Police. The male initially cooperated but when crystal meth was discovered on his person, he fled on foot but was captured a short distance away.  The male had the wallet from the theft on his person at the time of the arrest. Police located in the wallet 3 grams of marihuana and 1 gram of crystal meth. A 29yr old Brandon man was arrested and lodged at BCC for Court in the morning.

Assault Cause Bodily Harm:

On Tuesday evening at 9:00pm, a female reported to Police that approximately an hour prior her boyfriend pushed her into a dresser and split open her face. The female indicated that assault occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Douglas Street. Police attended to BRHC, where the female was calling from, and spoke with her. The female required medical attention for her injury. Police attended to a residence on Memorial Cres and located the male. A 23yr old Brandon man was arrested and released to appear in Court on May 01st 2017.
