Missing Youth Located

Police have located missing teen Echo TACAN.  Tacan had been featured in a media release earlier this past week.  Thank you to those that assisted in her safe return. 

Breach of Recognizance

At 1:40 AM police were called to the area of 1st St and Victoria Ave for an intoxicated male.  Upon arrival, officers located the 35-year-old Brandon male, who once identified was found to be the subject of a court ordered curfew.  He was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center, and will appear in court later today.

Mischief To Property

At 5:05 AM police were called to the 500 block of 13th St for a male who had just smashed a window to one of the homes in the area.  Officers located thee male a short distance from where the window had been broken, where he was arrested.  The 22-year-old Brandon male was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center until sober at which time he will be released on a promise to appear in court on April 24th, 2017.

Shoplifting

In the afternoon hours of Saturday Feb 25th, staff of a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave apprehended a 55-year-old Brandon female for stealing $40 worth of assorted merchandise.  The female was later released from custody and will appear in court on April 24th, charged for Theft Under $5000.

Other Arrests:

  • 1 male and 1 female were arrested and lodged at BCC under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act
  • 1 male and 1 female were arrested and lodged at BCC for Breach of the Peace
