Brandon Police Service is excited to announce their new youth initiative and the formation of the Brandon Police Service Cadet Corps (BPSCC). Youth between ages 13 & 18 are welcome to enroll in the program and participate in police, leadership, citizenship and physical activities.

Cadets will participate in Police orientated events and exposed to various units including:

  • Patrol
  • Identification
  • Traffic
  • K-9
  • Crime & Drugs
  • Community Policing

As well as:

  • Sports
  • Community Events
  • Holiday Gatherings and
  • MORE!

Cadets will be expected to participate in drill parades, maintain dress and deportment and comply with regulations.

Cadets will build self-esteem and confidence and gain valuable leadership skills.


The FIRST Cadet Parade night will begin TUESDAY NOVEMBER 04th @ 6:30PM and continue every Tuesday (excluding holidays) until June 02, 2015 @ the Brandon Armoury.

EVERYONE (13-18 yrs) who wishes to join/or ‘check us out’ are welcome!

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend opening night! Registration/waiver forms will be provided to parents for completion.

NO COST to join, however uniforms will be required at minimal cost (approx. $20) per Cadet.

Canteen will be available with $1 snack items each parade night.

The winner of the Cadet crest competition will be announced on November 4th and will become the Uniform logo for the BPSCC (Brandon
